The first shimmering glimmer of this newsletter burst into my mind as the world fell apart back in 2008. While I was heroically strong and resolute, nearly everyone I spoke with was in various stages of panic. Unfortunately, the media did nothing but whip that paranoia into a whirlwind. It was then that I realized I needed a way to get actual, legitimate, true facts out to my clients. It’s sad that I can’t trust the media to do that job, but their job is to get eyeballs to watch them – and that means over-dramatizing everything. My goal with this newsletter is to communicate the most relevant news, but to do it in a way that isn’t painfully boring to read.
